Storytime Yoga Party
60 Minutes Total
$15/per Child (minimum of 5 children required)
30 minutes of supervised yoga instruction and story. You will also receive use of one of our three studio spaces for gift unwrapping, snacks, etc.
Yoga Craft Party
90 Minutes Total
$20/per Child (minimum of 6 children required)
30 minutes of supervised yoga instruction, story and related craft activity (30 minutes) for each child. You will also receive use (30 additional minutes) of one of our three studio spaces for gift unwrapping, snacks, etc.
Yoga Spa Party (minimum of 6 children required) –Great for GIRLS
90 Minutes Total
$25/Child
30-40 minutes of supervised yoga instruction, story, spa-related craft activity for each child, partner foot massages (instructed). You will also receive use (30 additional minutes) of one of our three studio spaces for gift unwrapping, snacks, etc.
Ultimate Yoga Party
120 Minutes Total
$30/per Child (minimum of 6 children required)
30-45 minutes of supervised yoga instruction, story and related craft activity for each child. Yoga treat bags for each child. You will also receive use (up to 45 minutes) of one of our three studio spaces for gift unwrapping, snacks, etc.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Are your instructors certified? Both Miss Susan and Miss Kerry are registered yoga teachers (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance. In addition to having completed 200 hours of training, both Susan and Kerry are certified in children’s yoga through the Radiant Child Yoga Program (levels 1 & 2). Susan is also certified in prenatal yoga.
- What if I want a “themed” party? Miss Susan and Miss Kerry can work your theme into the craft and yoga activity.
- Do I need to make a deposit? A deposit of $50 (made payable to: The Folded Leaf) is required at the time the party is booked. Fifty percent of this fee is refundable if the party is canceled within two weeks of the event. Any cancellations made after that time will not be eligible for a refund.
- Is a guaranteed number of children required? We do request that you guarantee at least five children. In addition, we will need a confirmed number of guests at least 72 hours before the event. The number of guests you confirm at that time, will be the number of guests for which you are charged (less the required $50 deposit).
- What if I want to decorate? Because we are a studio open to people of all ages with classes and massages ongoing through each day, we advise keeping decorations to a minimum. We can however, arrange for candles and you can bring in balloons. We ask kindly that you refrain from bringing confetti, silly string, etc.
- Will participants need to sign waivers? Yes. We ask all those participating in yoga (for the first time at the studio) to sign liability waivers. Parents will need to sign for their children prior to the party (this can be done at our front desk as your guests arrive). We assume that you are able to contact children’s parents at any time during the party (should your guests’ parents choose to drop-off and come back after the party is over). Therefore, at least ONE adult contact (preferably the parent of the birthday boy or girl) is expected to remain during the duration of the party.
- Are mats and props provided? Absolutely! We have a variety of kid-sized and kid-appropriate props including smaller mats, breathing balls, blocks, etc. Your guests do not need to provide these items.
